First Days at the Crossroads

I have just completed selecting and editing ‘images from my first day of shooting ‘Stories from the Crossroads’, having spent two days in Brick Lane, Whitechapel Market and Petticoat Lane. The trip was an initial exploration rather than a focus on achieving images that may form part of my final work. Without the pressure of creating work, I was able to explore which tools worked best on the street, and critically how TRI-X and TMAX are ideally suited to different conditions. In this first of many blog posts along my journey, I want to share some of these important learnings and bring you up to speed on my intended shooting strategy over the coming weeks.
